Brick Powers the Parkour World Cup at FISE Montpellier

A major event in the urban sports calendar, FISE (Festival International des Sports Extrêmes) brings together athletes from around the world every year in Montpellier to compete in disciplines such as BMX, skateboarding, scootering, roller sports, and parkour.

Two complementary competition formats

Since 2023, World Gymnastics has organized one of the Parkour World Cup stages during this international event and has relied on Brick to provide the unique modular structures on which traceurs compete.

This year, the parkour area featured two competition formats. The Speed Run, where athletes must complete an obstacle course as quickly as possible, and the Freestyle competition, which rewards creativity, technical skill, and originality through dynamic runs across the course.

Modular environments designed for parkour

Beyond simply designing obstacles, Brick develops modular environments created to support parkour in all its forms. Adaptable to a wide range of spaces and applications, these structures meet the needs of clubs, training facilities, event organizers, and sports federations.

Their presence on the international stage at FISE reflects a commitment to providing equipment that supports the continued growth of the discipline while helping communities around the world access high-quality training and competition environments.

Working together to grow the discipline

This latest edition of FISE once again brought together the many stakeholders contributing to the growth of parkour worldwide, including the FISE and Hurricane Group teams, World Gymnastics, Brick distributors such as Gymnova, as well as athletes, volunteers, and event partners.

Events such as FISE play a key role in the continued development of parkour, helping the discipline reach wider audiences, gain greater visibility, and attract new practitioners around the world.
