TITAN World League: EP Climbing Launches a Global Bouldering League
Climbing at your local gym and comparing your performance with climbers around the world: that is the idea behind the Titan World League launched by EP Climbing. This international bouldering league features identical problems replicated across gyms equipped with the Titan wall.
The Titan Wall: A Shared Playground
Developed by EP Climbing in collaboration with the International Federation of Sport Climbing, the Titan was used at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. Its standardised geometry allows the same boulder problems to be recreated across different gyms, giving climbers a common basis for training and competing remotely. Through this league, EP Climbing is extending the use of its wall beyond major competitions.
The Titan World League offers 14 problems created by international route setters, each available at two difficulty levels. With no deadline, climbers can make repeated attempts at their own pace and log their results on a global leaderboard through the Griptonite digital platform, accessible at www.titanworldleague.com.
A New Challenge for Climbing Centres Equipped by EP Climbing
For gym operators, the format offers a fresh way to engage their community. Each gym chooses its own schedule and how many problems to offer, while the Circle platform makes it easier to recreate them.
Gyms in France, Belgium, Spain and Thailand are among the first participants. By combining its equipment with shared problems and an international leaderboard, EP Climbing is connecting climbing communities thousands of kilometres apart.
