Vogo Strengthens Its Partnership with the French National Rugby League Through 2032

04/06/2026

The French National Rugby League (LNR) has selected Vogo to operate and deploy the audio and video systems used across its professional rugby competitions from the 2026–2027 season through to 2031–2032. Following a tender process involving eight candidates, Vogo was awarded all available contracts, reinforcing its position as a leading technology partner to professional rugby in France.

A partner of the LNR since 2017 through the league’s concussion management protocol, Vogo is now significantly expanding its scope of services. The company will oversee multi-camera video feeds for key match stakeholders, referee and medical team communication systems, as well as video match officiating solutions.

A Partnership Driven by Innovation

Beyond its operational scope, the new agreement includes a sponsorship component and a joint technology innovation programme, with a particular focus on artificial intelligence. The partnership aims to further develop solutions that support fair play, enhance refereeing standards, and improve player welfare.

According to Christophe Carniel, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Vogo, the LNR’s decision represents “strong recognition of the strategy and technological expertise that Vogo has developed over nearly a decade alongside professional rugby in France”. He also highlighted the shared ambition to develop new AI-powered solutions that will help position French professional rugby as “a global benchmark for innovation in sport”.
