Vogo and the French Swimming Federation Sign a Four-Year Technology Partnership

10/04/2026

Vogo has signed a four-year technology partnership with the French Swimming Federation (FFN). Building on several years of collaboration, the agreement covers three areas: video officiating in competition, movement analysis in training and joint projects involving artificial intelligence.

Vogosport in Competition, Vogoscope in Training

The partnership includes the deployment of Vogosport at major national competitions: the French Short Course and Long Course Championships, as well as the French Open. The solution allows officials to review footage when an incident requires closer examination, helping them make informed decisions.

In training, Vogoscope puts video to a different use. Deployed at INSEP, France’s National Institute of Sport, Expertise and Performance, the solution analyses movement to help swimmers and coaches refine technique. Vogo thus supports both officiating in elite competition and athletes’ day-to-day preparation.

The agreement also includes joint projects combining automatic swimmer tracking with advanced video analysis. The aim is to give coaching teams more detailed insights into movement and help them refine athletes’ preparation.

This collaboration strengthens Vogo’s presence in aquatic sports, where its technologies support performance, training and swimming instruction. The company draws on the expertise of two-time Olympic champion Alain Bernard to develop these applications with federations and local authorities.
