Janssen-Fritsen Partners with Heroes Den Bosch for Three Seasons

Janssen-Fritsen has entered into a three-season partnership with Heroes Den Bosch, a professional basketball club based in the Dutch city of Den Bosch. The partnership aims to support the sport’s development, from grassroots participation to elite competition.

Heroes Den Bosch maintains close ties with the local basketball community. Its "Basketball Convenant" network brings together more than 35 clubs, encouraging the exchange of knowledge and experience through workshops for coaches and training sessions led by professional players.

Janssen-Fritsen shares these strong connections with local clubs through its work supplying schools and sports organisations. Based in Helmond, the company has been designing and manufacturing sports equipment since 1950. It distributes basketball equipment from Schelde Sports, a fellow ABEO Group company and an official partner of FIBA, the International Basketball Federation.

From Clubs to the Federation: Janssen-Fritsen Supports Dutch Basketball

The agreement with Heroes Den Bosch complements the five-year partnership Janssen-Fritsen announced with the Dutch Basketball Federation in April 2026. That partnership includes upgrading outdoor courts with Schelde Sports equipment to create more opportunities to play.

Through these two partnerships, Janssen-Fritsen is strengthening its support for clubs and the development of facilities that help basketball grow across the Netherlands.
