EP Climbing Equips Pennsylvania’s Largest Climbing Centre
Opened in November 2025 in Philadelphia’s Fishtown neighbourhood, USA, Movement brings together climbing, yoga and fitness across more than 3,800 m². EP Climbing built the climbing walls, creating a new space for beginners and experienced climbers alike to practise and progress.
With this second Philadelphia location, following Callowhill, Movement strengthens its presence in the city. Situated on North American Street in a growing neighbourhood, the gym offers a place to train, try something new and connect with fellow climbers.
2,700 m² of Climbing Surface, Reaching Up to 13 Metres
For Movement Fishtown, EP Climbing built roped climbing and bouldering walls covering approximately 2,700 m² of climbing surface. Reaching up to 13 metres high and featuring varied wall profiles, the project draws on EP Climbing’s design expertise to accommodate routes suited to different ability levels.
The facility also includes an adjustable-angle Lemur training board. Additional equipment, including a Kilter Board and a hydraulic Tension Board 2, allows climbers to develop their technique and build strength.

A Place to Climb, Train and Connect
Beyond the climbing walls, Movement Fishtown features a yoga studio, cardio and strength training areas, and a specialist gear shop. Introductory and advanced classes round out the offering, helping everyone find their place at the gym.
This project demonstrates EP Climbing’s ability to deliver on a large scale, with a range of equipment that meets equally varied needs: discovering climbing, developing a regular practice or preparing for new challenges.
