SPIETH is glad about equipping a new training centre in Croatia!

A few weeks ago a second training center was inaugurated in Osijek, after 2007 in Cakovec a gymnastics hall was equipped by SPIETH.

Since 2013 SPIETH supports the local responsible persons in the planning of their new gymnastics centre in Osijek. Many counseling sessions with the coaches and various drawings followed, until last year the final release for the reconstruction of the old gym and the building of a completely new hall was granted.

The realization of the project started right afterwards, so that SPIETH completed the installation of the new gymnastics hall already in May.

The new gymnastics centre contains about 80 m² of open and 30 m² closed pit system, which allows a safe learning of elements. With the connection of all apparatuses as well as a trampoline on ground level and a tumbling track "Moscow" to the pits, an ideal training opportunities for gymnasts is created.

In addition, a hydraulic lift for the vaulting area was installed, thus the gymnasts have the possibility to use the vaulting table under competition conditions as well as for the methodical training.

The whole area is completed with an female and all-round competition apparatus set including the SPIETH swing floor "Moscow".  With the proven SPIETH matsystem is everything safely connected and extra space for the numerous methodical equipment is granted.

Three SPIETH technicians were working in Croatia 4 weeks long on implementing to this great new training facility that now appears in a new look.

The idea of upgrading the old gymnastics hall has existed since 1929. For the last ten years, we have been permanently working on this project.

We finally came to an end and our dream came true. We managed to reconstruct the old building and build the new one.

Now we have 2400 square meters of usable space - the main hall, 1000 square meters, is equipped with the latest SPIETH gymnastics equipment. In addition to the large main gymnastics hall, our center is equipped with 4 smaller halls and a café.

On the last floor of the gymnastics center, we have 9 modern - designed rooms with over 25 beds to accommodate foreign gymnastics delegations. The specificity of the location is reflected in the fact that hall is set in the very center of the City of Osijek, surrounded by the most beautiful city parks.

Our intention is to offer gymnasts, around the world, training in the most modern, high-quality conditions. We hope that we will be successful in our purpose to welcome gymnastics delegation from all over the world in our TOP quality gymnastics center in the city which is for ten years in a row organizer of FIG World Challenge Cup competitions. “
