Ice Climbing World Championships in Champagny-en-Vanoise

Ice Climbing World Championships in Champagny-en-Vanoise

On 4 and 5 February 2017, La Plagne – Champagny-en-Vanoise hosted the Ice Climbing World Championships organised by the FFCAM (French Mountaineering Federation) at the Champagny-en-Vanoise venue. The ‘Elite’ World Championship finals took place on 5 February 2017 from 3 pm at the Champagny-le-Haut ice tower. This structure—unrivalled in Europe—provided the best conditions for all events and guaranted a spectacular show!

ENTRE-PRISES (EP) volumes had pride of place! What’s on? Entertainment for all the family at the ‘Village des glaces’ (ice village), games, climbing, teatime snacks, ice climbing tasters and open days at the Champagny-le-Haut cross-country ski area.
