Elected councillors and teaching staff inaugurated the new climbing wall built by ENTRE-PRISES, a specialized company from the Isère in France.
Installed over the summer, the facility was inaugurated on Friday 4 November 2016.
It has fourteen lifelines, routes that can be modified at will and above all, standards-compliant equipment. The new climbing wall at Irandatz Middle School was inaugurated on Friday morning in the presence of sports teacher Hervé Lasbignes, who is delighted.
“The old wall did not comply with safety standards any more. We had to stop running the climbing lessons completely. With this new equipment, we can start them up again as of the start of the next school year.”
